Yara Calcaño joined De la Rosa Law Firm in 2024. She has state and federal litigation experience in New York, the District of Columbia, and Texas. Her health law career started in law school, where through her clinic she obtained the release from prison of a young man due to his delicate state of health during the COVID-19 pandemic. She went on to defend tenants and homeowners in securing their housing in New York City. Upon moving to Texas, she defended private and non-profit companies in home insurance claims. At De la Rosa Law Firm she defends physicians facing TMB complaints and malpractice litigation. Yara understands the intricacies of the health care system and takes pride in defending and protecting healthcare providers.
